The Central Highlands of Vietnam is known as home to different ethnic minorities, for the fresh nature and temperate climate and the sublime waterfalls. Leaving Ho Chi Minh City or Hue, we'll start our tour in Da Lat – the City of Love, then continue to the serene Lak Lake and learn about the life of the Mnong People from the back of the elephants. We'll have a full day tour of Buon Ma Thuot and the waterfalls around the homeland of Vietnam's best coffee. We'll have a complete exploration of the natural beauty and cultural life of the ethnic people who live around Pleiku and Kontum.
Day 1: Arrive in Saigon
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City which is still called Saigon by the locals.

Day 2: Saigon - Nam Cat Tien (B, L, D)
In the morning, drive to the Nam Cat Tien National Park located 170 kilometers north-west of Saigon. Entry formalities. Beginning of the tour in Jeep. Then walk to Bau Sau (1h30 walk). Stop for lunch. Sampan walk on a pond to discover the ecosystem: a fauna and flora full of surprises await you including crocodiles, beautiful birds and flowers.
Return for dinner: departure for the lookout for nocturnal animals in jeep: the Indochinese tiger, the Asian elephant, wild pigs and hinds. Return and overnight at the hotel at Nam Cat Tien Park Center
Day 3: Nam Cat Tien - Dalat (B, L)
Morning early rise among the sounds of the forest, after breakfast, Jeep transfer into the park at the junction where we reach the main road and hiking departure about 3km to the lake resort of the crocodiles. Day 4: Da Lat (L, D)
Breakfast. Departure at 8.30 am from the hotel, visit the Bao Dai Summer Palace, the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty and some other villas in the vicinity (the Governor General's residence and Dinh I). Then, you will have a good opportunity to discover a fantastic place called "La Pension Hang Nga" or "Crazy House". This incredible house is like a modern outdoor art museum. This is a must for travelers to Da Lat. Then transfer to the station of Da Lat, a model of the station of Deauville. In particular you will have the opportunity to take a train trip from Da Lat Station to the Trai Ma village, which will be a good way to admire the landscape of Da Lat, flower farms, vegetables, plantations of coffee. In the afternoon: transfer to Lat village, 12km from Da Lat. Day 5: Dalat - Lake Lake (B, L, D)
After breakfast departure towards Lake Lak - large natural lake surrounded by beautiful villages of the M'nông ethnic group. Upon arrival in Lak, visit Jun and M'liêng villages inhabited by M'nông. Here the houses are built on stilts and two sides, typical of the people of Tay Nguyen. Finally a 90-minute ride on the back of an elephant.

Day 6: Lake Lak - Buon Ma Thuot (B, L)
Breakfast. Drive to Buon Ma Thuot, visit the ethnographic museum that you will discover afterwards. Buon Me Thuot - a small, bustling provincial town that is well known for the production of coffee and pepper. The coffee is coarse-grained arabica. Of the four species of foxes that live in the area, one of them particularly enjoys coffee. Instead of hunting these animals, the guards of the plantations encourage them to come by depositing grains at the foot of the shrubs. This is the only way to recover the "fox cafe", especially prized and sold more expensive in the market.

Day 7: Buon Ma Thuot – Kontum (B, L,D)

Day 8: Ban Don- Pleiku - Yok Don Park (B / - / -)
Yok Don Park - Spread over a total area of 115,545 ha, Yok Don Park is located west of Dak Lak province. Yok Don has a very varied fauna of 474 species, including 28 registered in the Vietnamese Red Book. This park is considered one of the seven centers with biodiversity in Vietnam. It is recognized in the protection of large mammals, including the Asian elephant (Elephas maximus), gayal (Bos gaurus), bull (Bos javanicus) and tiger Dông Duong (Panthera tigris). Yok Don is also a shelter for some globally extinct species such as black gibbon (Hylobates gabriellae), blacklegged primate (Pygathrix nigripes) and deer (Cervus eldii). Among the many species of birds living in Yok Don, many are endangered on a global scale such as the white-winged duck (Cairina scutulata) and the stork (Thaumatibis gigantea). With their varied ecosystems, in the future, national parks on the Central Highlands could become attractive natural museums for tourists.
After breakfast, depart for Yokdon National Park, hike in the forest (about 3 hours) to the Boudha waterfall and then go upstream on the S'repok river by motorized boat (about 40minutes) to enjoy the Beauty scenery and see the daily routine activities of residents along the river. Visit the village of Ban Don- known for the capture and breeding of elephants. Arrival and visit of the village of Ban Don, a Mnong cemetery where the tombs with tumulus are surmounted by four poles which carry a small wooden house decorated at the funeral with the blood of the ox or the buffalo offered as an offering. Day 9: Yodon National Park - Buon Ma Thuot - Da Nang (B, L)

Day 10: Hoi An (B, L)

The ancient city of Hoi An is one of the major attractions of the region with more than 800 buildings of historical interest. Day 11: Hoi An - My Son - Hue (B, L)

Day 12: Hue - city tour (B, L)

A day of visiting beautiful sights in Hue. Former imperial capital from 1802 to 1945, Hue is the heart of the Vietnamese literati. Declared a historical heritage by UNESCO since 1993, Hue offers visitors many historical and cultural sites still well preserved. Sampan cruise on the Perfume River to the Celestial Lady Pagoda: located on the Perfume River, it is recognizable from a distance thanks to its octagonal tower. Continuation with the visit of Minh Mang Tomb: located on the left bank of the Perfume River, this majestic tomb represents the perfect harmony between nature and architecture.
In the afternoon, visit the Imperial City built under the model of the Chinese imperial palaces. The citadel was built between 1805 and 1832. There are many vestiges of this city. Continuation with the tomb of the Emperor Tu Duc: sumptuous tomb located 7kms from Hue in the middle of frangipani and pines, built on plans drawn up by the emperor in person. Day 13: Hue - Thuy Bieu village - TAM GIANG lagoon - Flight to Saigon (B, L)

Leave Hue for Thuan An, by van / car. Embark on the boat and start your journey on the lagoon of Tam Giang. In the late afternoon, you will discover the Sam and Chuon ponds.
