Explore Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia as we visit Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Pak Ou Cave, Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoian, Danang, Saigon, Cu Chi, Mekong Delta and Siem Reap.
Day 1: Vientiane (Laos) Arrival. (L)
On arrival in Vientiane Capital, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph, sunset by the Mekong Riverside and late evening. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 2: Vientiane – Luang Prabang (B,L) Flight
We board a short afternoon flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. On arrival, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves – Luang Prabang (B,L)
Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 4: Luang Prabang – Ventiane (B,L) Flight
This morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. after the breakfast, visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the Central Market are not to be missed. We visit these sights before we catch a flight back to Vientiane. After checking into hotel, we transfer out to see the Buddha Park, a blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on parkland located by the Mekong River and the impressive Friendship Bridge. A view of the Atacular sunset over the Mekong River is perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 5: Luang Prabang - Ventiane (Laos) – Ha Noi (Vietnam) (BL) Flight
After breakfast, we visit the Morning Market and the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong (if time permits). The tour ends after your transfer to Wattay Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Pick you up at airport transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Visit (B,L)
After breakfast at hotel, we commence our exploration of Hanoi by visiting the Ho Chi Minh complex, starting at the President’s Mausoleum. We continue to his humble “house on stilts”, see the French colonial Presidential Palace and the 11th century One-Pillar Pagoda. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon we take a short dirve to visit the Temple of Literature, the first Vietnam University dating to 1070. Proceed to take walking tour through the Hanoi’s Old Quarter, passing the Opera House, the Saint Joseph Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening, enjoy dinner at local restaurant. Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh (B,L)
Pick you up at hotel at 08.00 a.m to depart for Ninh Binh province. Start tour Trang An - Bai Dinh Pagoda. Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Have lunch in local restaurant.
Day 8: Ninh Binh – Ha Long (B,L,D)
After breakfast, Depart for Halong.Arrive Halong around 12:00 noon, getting on junk and enjoy lunch of savoury local sea food. In the afternoon, start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: Lion, Tea Pot, Toad, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islets, then stop for a walk through the Sung Sot (Amazing Cave). The junk arrive Titop island, you will have 1 hour for visiting, climbing and swimming.
There will be plenty of time for swimming and sunbathing (If weather permitted) after the boat anchors at a clean calm sea. Enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner in our beautiful restaurant before retiring to the comfort of your cabin. Overnight on the boat. DELUXE DRAGON CRUISE
Day 9: Ha Long – Ha Noi – Hue (B,L)
Breakfast at 6.45 a.m. Cruise back to Ha Long City.On the way, you may have 20 minutes for swimming at a quiet and clean sea. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11.45 a.m and get on car to the restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, return to Ha Noi. On the way we will have short-break in Hai Duong province and arrive in Ha Noi at approx 17.00. Arrive Hanoi, transfer to Hanoi airport to take the plane for Hue.Pick you up at airport transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue

Day 10: Hue. Visit (B,L)
Car pick up at your hotel. Cruise on the beautiful Perfume River by dragon boat your have viewing daily life along the way. Visit Thien Mu pagoda (Heavenly Lady). Car pick you up to visit Minh Mang Tomb, one of the most interesting emperor tombs in Hue. It is situated 12 km outside the city, on Cam Ke hill, on the west bank of the Perfume River. Have lunch with Hue Dim Dum (Banh La). Visit Tu Duc Tomb, the most beautifully designed complexes among the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty. Embedded in a lush pine forest and you continue to visit conical hat and incense stick making village. Continue by car to visit the Citadel, from here you take a Cyclo to go around Hue imperial city and go back to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B,L)
We leave towards Hoi An in the morning by the well-known and stunning Mandarin Road. On the top of the Ocean Cloud Pass, we have a panoramic view over Danang and the surrounding areas. In Danang city we visit the Cham Museum, exposing countless antique articles of the former Cham Kingdom which lasted until the 16th century. Afterwards we climb the Marble Mountains, a set of 5 mountains which represent the 5 factors that symbolize our universe. From here, the view upon the Beach is breathtaking. We continue our trip by arriving in Hoian. Also this ancient town was recognized by UNESCO as being World Cultural Heritage in 1999. Hoian used to serve as an active port of trade with the Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese people during the 17th and 18th centuries. The streets, houses and architecture are remained ‘untouched’, despite turbulent history. We also visit the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Tan Ky ancient house before checking-in at the hotel in Hoi An. Hoi An is is famous about its numerous tailor-made clothing establishments. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13: Hoi An – Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City. (B) Flight
You have leisure time to stroll around Hoi An before we transfer you to Danang to take a short flight towards Ho Chi Minh City. After-noon you have free time to explore the city by yourself. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – Visit (B)
We are going to explore the vivid economic capital of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. We bring a visit to the Central Post Office of Saigon and the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is the symbol of semi-colonial architecture of the French occupation in Vietnam. We continue our trip with an interesting visit to the Thien Hau Pagoda, situated in the heart of China Town. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 15: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Today an interesting visit to the Cu Chi Tunnel is planned, situated 30 km northwest from HCM City. This complex of underground tunnels is stretching over more than 250 km and was made by the Viet Cong guerillas during the war against the Americans. The cleverly constructed tunnel was the key to victory over the modern American forces and Southern Vietnamese fantoccini. During our excursion we learn more about what ‘Viet Cong life’ looked like during these times. Back to the city. Overnight in Saigon
Day 16: Sai Gon - Cai Be floating markets – Vinh Long (B,L,D)
We start the tour early and go ahead to Vinh Long. On arrival, transfer into a local boat to visit Cai Be floating market – one of the most colorful and typical markets in Mekong Delta. Visit nearby handicraft villages. Learn the process of making rice cakes, pop rice cakes and pay a visit to coconut candy workshop to enjoy the little brown sweets served with tea. Have lunch at the local house. Experience the friendliness and hospitability of the host. In the afternoon, spend time at the fruit orchard. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits. Overnight in Vinh Long homestay.
